People love emoji and so do you, here is a simple trick of adding emoji to your post. All you need to do is, type : follow with the name of the emoji. For example: :fire=🔥

Medium Hack 2: Add image/gif from Unsplash/Giphy
Sometimes it’s will make the reading experience more immersive when you add an appropriate image or gif. In fact, Medium has already got a build in function linked to Unsplash.
All you need is to click the + button appeared on the left side on your input field and choose the second button with a magnifying glass icon.
Then, simply type what you want and the relevant image will show up. For example, below is an image I found with the keyword: Reading
Also, if you would like to add some funny gif to the post, you can go to GIPHY , find the gif you like, copy the link and paste hit to post. Don’t forget to hit “Enter” to let Medium rendering the gif.
